A little wordplay.
Words is a small word game by Sochnev. Connect the six letters on the hexagon to fill a crossword. Play in English or Russian, with a hint whenever you need one.
How to play
Drag through letters and release to submit. Or tap letters and press Enter. A keyboard works too: type your word, press Enter to check, Backspace to remove a letter, or Escape to clear it.
Each tile can be used once per word. Solved words reveal shared letters that help you find the next word. A word fully revealed by its crossings is completed automatically. Each new extra word on the bonus list reveals another letter clue. Repeating a word is welcome, but does not earn another clue. These are handpicked word lists, so they do not include every possible word.
Your progress & privacy
Words saves completed words, bonus words, letter clues, revealed hints, puzzle choices, language, and theme in this browser’s local storage. It has no account system, advertising, or app analytics. Your game progress is not sent to a server or synchronized between devices.
Moving from Wordwheel? The old address transfers your game progress to Words through a temporary browser-only URL fragment, then removes it. Progress is validated and merged with any existing Words save; the old save is kept. No progress is sent to our server.
Clearing this site’s browser data removes your saved progress. Private browsing or blocked storage may prevent saving. The hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes normal request information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. See Sochnev’s privacy policy for operator details and contact information.
